Now I have had a Leviathan Theory and I have been talking about it since the middle of May. In short, Leviathan and his cohorts are the Charlton Heroes and Leviathan himself is Ted Kord. And I am sticking to that guess. In fact, I have been so certain, I have claimed the phrase 'This time, I'm right' to discuss the book.
Along the way, I have also looked at other leading candidates for who could be under the mask. And I have posted those back-up theories here, reviewing all the clues I found and how they supported or disproved people.
And I have to say, I have so much fun just throwing myself into the assignment. I hope you guys have enjoyed it too.
But keep reading, because there will be a sad statement at the end of this post.
Heck, I have even posted odds on-line.
Perhaps best of all were people telling me that I was forgetting some suspects.
I don't think it is Roy (25:1) or Glonth (1000:1) but heck, that's why it's called gambling.
And even writer Brian Michael Bendis has noticed, trolling me in a tweet which had a Marvel solicit from the 80s or 90s listed as a clue.
I'll take it.
But here is the sad thing ...
Even though the reveal is today, I am most likely not going to be able to read it. I am stuck in a work conference out of state and so unless I find a comic book store nearby and time to get there, I will not be getting comics until tomorrow at the earliest.
So I need you guys to fill in the blank.

Moreover, I'd love to know if you had a theory, a brief 'why' about that theory, and how you feel now that the reveal has happened.
Regardless, thank you Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev for this engaging mystery. I loved it.
And I hope this time, I'm right.

I don't think so either. But if this was the reveal, it wasn't a fair mystery...
I do not think that this was a reveal, but at least I was able to remember a couple of important details.
