Walt Simonson Commission

The Boston Comic-Con is right around the corner and that means I have a bit of work to do.

This convention, right here in my home town, has been growing almost exponentially each year and I couldn't be happier. The guest list keeps growing and that means I have to start putting together books to get signed and trying to puzzle out which commissions I should try to get. As we get closer to the 4/21 date, I'll definitely post my plans of who I am aiming for.

In the meanwhile, I figured I'd share this Walt Simonson commission which I got here at the Boston con a few years ago. Simonson is a legend in the field and one of the nicest creators I have met. He also does free quick commission sketches as you wait. As a big fan of his, especially his run on Thor, this is a great piece for my commission collection.

I hear ya, brother. I've got less than two months until Comicpalooza, and have to figure out how to get (and afford) a Joe Kubert and Dave Johnson plus juggle other hoped-for commissions, connecting artists to (increasingly obscure) characters. It's a fun juggle, though!
