For lots of reasons, I think Supergirl fans have a lot to be thankful for in 2025 and these February solicits certainly add to the cornucopia. In fact, I think 2025 has been one of the better more recent years for my comic passion as Superman and Supergirl were front and center and solid comics all around.
Here is a link to the February 2026 solicits:

SUPERMAN #35
Writer(s): JOSHUA WILLIAMSON
Artist(s): EDDY BARROWS and EBER FERREIRA
Cover Artist(s): DAN MORA
Variant covers by GUILLEM MARCH, ROD REIS, DAVIDE PARATORE, and CHRIS STEVENS
Valentine's Day variant by CHRISSIE ZULLO
Superman's time in the tournament has taken its toll. And now Darkseid's Legion plans to make a massive sacrifice for their lord, and Time Trapper is too late to stop them. Only three unlikely heroes can show the corrupted Legion the light… The end of this issue sets up the end of DC K.O. but also massive status quo changes for Superman!
I am pretty thrilled that we are getting a Legion book in the near future. I don't want the Absolute Legion to 'see the light' and become the new Legion. Too much blood on their hands. I trust Joshua Williamson to make the right choices.
We met Absolute Hawkman in Absolute Evil and he seems to be more of a killing machine/villain than a hero so I can't wait to see this interaction. Too bad Rafael Sandoval isn't on the interior art.
ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN: BOOK OF EL #6
Writer(s): PHILLIP KENNEDY JOHNSON
Artist(s): SCOTT GODLEWSKI
Cover Artist(s): SCOTT GODLEWSKI
Variant covers by WILL CONRAD, LUCIO PARRILLO, and MEGAN HUANG
A roving gang of Warworld Phaelosians is towing precious cargo! To retrieve it, Superman will have to beat them at their own warp-speed game—and engage the fearless Valkyries! Ronan Kent has been an essential ally, but he's been secretly accessing information from a twisted source. Can Superman trust a man who's been listening to enemy whispers? Kryl-Ux has five of the seven god-aspects of Olgrun, and time is running out to save Osul and Otho-Ra.
I am really liking this series and this solicit has some great hooks. I have been wondering about the Phaelosians in this future world so glad we'll get some info. And Kryl-Ux having 5 of 7 aspects is amping up his threat.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the Vertigo imprint is coming back. I was there at the beginning of the first go-around and those books were so incredible. They came out at the perfect time in my comic reading life. So I might have to sample these new Vertigo books to see if the come near those halcyon days of Shade the Changing Man, Doom Patrol, Hellblazer, Enigma, Kill Your Boyfriend, etc.
But we're here for the Super-books so let's dive in!
SUPERGIRL #10

Meanwhile, Lena Luthor struggles with their friendship fallout. Can the daughter of Lex Luthor and cousin of Superman ever see eye-to-eye again?
The goth guy from Supergirl #4 returns and you might remember there was some debate about who he is! So is it H'El? Comet? Dick Malverne? Power Boy? Or someone new?

Joe Quinones is the perfect fill-in artist on this title so I will be glad to see his take on the characters. And his variant showing all the crazy love interests in Kara's past is pretty fantastic.

And if Superman is down for the count, is he not in the KO finale?
You might remember that my bracket had Luthor taking on Zatanna in the final!
ACTION COMICS #1095
Writer(s): MARK WAID
Artist(s): PATRICIO DELPECHE
Cover Artist(s): RYAN SOOK
Variant covers by CHRIS SPROUSE and JUNI BA
Pete Ross knows everything about Clark Kent…or does he? After stumbling across a distressing truth about his best friend's superhero exploits, Pete is at a crossroads. Will he be a powerful ally to the Boy of Steel or the one person capable of orchestrating his demise?
I am so glad that Pete Ross and his knowing Clark's secret. I better get the tent scene!
Never heard of Patricio Delpeche so look forward to seeing a new artist. But Ryan Sook is killing it on these covers.
SUPERMAN UNLIMITED #10
Writer(s): DAN SLOTT
Artist(s): MIKE NORTON
Cover Artist(s): DAVE JOHNSON
Variant covers by GUILLEM MARCH, DON AGUILLO, MIKE CHOI, and FERNANDO BLANCO
It's said that the sun is always shining on the city of Metropolis…but lately a shadow has fallen. This shadow has a name, and it's on the lips of the terrified citizens of the city of tomorrow tonight…it's the horrible new form of the Prankster! The all-new, mysterious Prankster was the deadliest assassin in the DC Universe, someone with a perfect record of kills…until Superman saved one of his victims. And that makes the Man of Tomorrow his next target.
This series has been sort of up and down for me.

This again feels like a side issue away from the Slott grand plot of 'lots of Green K'. I am for a new Prankster, a villain I think has potential. And interesting that Rafael Albuquerque us no where on this issue, not even the cover.
Will we ever get to the end of 'Kryptonite EVER-more'?
BATMAN / SUPERMAN: WORLD'S FINEST #48
Writer(s): MARK WAID
Artist(s): MARCUS TO
Cover Artist(s): DAN MORA
Variant covers by MARK SPEARS, ADRIÁN GUTIÉRREZ, and MEGAN HUANG
They are the finest duo in the world—but which world? Forget Batman and Superman—welcome to a chilling tale starring their evil Crime Syndicate doppelgangers, Ultraman and Owlman!
With this book being set in the past and without any significant over-arching plot that is impacting current continuity, I don't mind the side adventures and rest issues we get.

I am surprised it has taken Mark Waid 4 years to get to the reverse World's Finest of Owlman and Ultraman. We've seen Legacy World's Finest (Supergirl/Robin), Bizarro World's Finest, even Evil World's Finest (Joker/Lex)! This should be fun.
And I like Marcus To's art so this is an extra treat.
ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN #16
Writer(s): JASON AARON
Artist(s): JUAN FERREYRA
Cover Artist(s): RAFA SANDOVAL
Variant covers by GERALD PAREL, INHYUK LEE, and MAHMUD ASRAR
Superman finds himself at the forefront of a bold new age of heroes in the Absolute Universe, but he quickly learns that he wasn't the world's first super-powered protector. Enter Hawkman, who has a few tips for the new kid, whether he wants to hear them or not!
I am really intrigued to see where this book goes once the threat of Lazarus and Ra's goes away. Is this Superman embraced as a world protector? Is there some light in the Absolute universe now.

SUPERMAN: CHAINS OF LOVE SPECIAL #1
Writer(s): LEAH WILLIAMS and DAN SLOTT
Artist(s): IG GUARA and ROSI KAMPE
Cover Artist(s): YASMINE PUTRI
Variant covers by JUAN FERREYRA, IG GUARA, and MIRKA ANDOLFO
Love is in the air—also death—in Superman: Chains of Love Special! Step aside Daily Planet—a new news force is taking the city of Metropolis by storm! When the former felon Livewire is released from prison, an unholy alliance and (frankly, wholesome) romance with the Creeper is forged in the fires of a super-villain battle! But with two of Metropolis's most notorious shock-jock media personalities getting together comes the debut of a new outlet to rival even that of the Daily Planet. Witness the rise of the Wiretap and some shocking surprises in the Superman: Chains of Love Special!
Any one who knows me, knows I love The Creeper. So a Creeper/Livewire romance sounds like an explosive combination. Dan Slott seems like a natural to be writing the Creeper. And Leah Williams feels like a natural to write Livewire.

THE FINAL FOUR ARE PUT TO THE ABSOLUTE TEST!
Three mysterious new Omega-charged fighters have entered the tournament… and this trinity of the Absolute will change the face of the DCU forever! It’s all down to how far the final four are willing to go to win in the penultimate chapter of DC K.O.! Plus: Booster’s true allegiance revealed, Darkseid’s return foretold, and a bonkers last page that will bring the battle to the next level!
We are to the final four of this tournament but most of the covers show us that the Absolute Heroes are entering the fray. That seems like a game-changer.

I check out this variant by Albuquerque showing Supergirl taking on Lobo. Pretty slick.
Is your bracket busted?

And I think trade sales matter so hope lots of folks pick it up.
SUPERGIRL'S FAMILY VACATION
Writer(s): BRANDON T. SNIDER
Artist(s): SARAH LEUVER
Cover Artist(s): SARAH LEUVER
Kara Zor-El is an excellent superhero who is just not appreciated by the people of Metropolis. Summer's coming, and she's ready to visit Argo, a floating city in space where the last survivors of Krypton live. These are her people, and since Clark grew up on Earth, she can teach him a thing or two for once. It's the perfect plan! And it gets even better when Lois invites along Kara's best friend, Natasha. But when their road trip through space is interrupted by an old friend of Clark's, the family gets diverted to a strange and beautiful planet with a dark secret that only Superman can save them from. Kara's plans get pushed aside. Again. What's a cranky preteen to do? Hang out at the pool, meet a cute boy, and save the day, of course!
I love the idea of Supergirl being a lead in YA graphic novels. There is something 'Adventures in Babysiting' about this cover that I find endearing. And Natasha Irons being her good friend makes sense.
