Happy Memorial Day everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying the three day weekend.
I figured, given the holiday, I would show Supergirl fighting along side our military. After all, today is the day we should honor our veterans.

So here is this panel from Supergirl #60 written by Peter David and pencilled by Leonard Kirk. Here Linda Danvers takes part in the worldwide battle against Imperiex in the Our World At War storyline. Flying alongside Colonel Blackhawk, Supergirl attempts to stop a probe from destroying Leesburg.
The latest issue of Supergirl made Best Shots at newsarama. I think that this is great exposure for Supergirl.
ReplyDeleteUm, a Happy Memorial day to all you in the U.S. then. :) (Sorry, not too sure what to say with it being a day we've never heard of over here in my part of the world)
ReplyDeleteOh, and Beam77, I'd have had to kindly disagree with you if it weren't for Jamal personally asking me to trust him when he says to trust Sterling and himself come their intended overall plan for their run on Supergirl (this after I had let him know that I wasn't none to happy one iota what looked like Sterling having Supergirl actually killing off Lucy Lang) so I guess that you may be right in hoping this will only result in good exposure for Supergirl at the end of the day.
Happy Memorial Day! Barbecues galore! Oh,and honour those who fought in the armed forces, and all that... I bought by poppy the other day!
ReplyDeleteLOL. Meanwhile, and this has barely anything to do with anything, but as Linda sighs as being called Ma'am, I just felt like sharing... Yesterday was my 23rd birthday, and I was repeatedly called "Ma'am" at dinner, despite my efforts to stop it.
*sigh*
Linda, I feel your pain.
Happy belated Birthday, Yota! :D

ReplyDeleteWell happy birthday!
As a guy who will be 39 in just over a month, I have become numb to being called 'sir'.
What hurts is being in the 3rd column of age in most surveys. Heck, DC did an online survey recently and they stopped me after the age question saying 'you are not in the age group we are hoping to learn from'.
Anyways, hope you had a great birthday!
Haha! Thanks for the birthday wishes, guys! <3
