A relentless figure of the dark that protects the streets of Gotham City and puts the fear in all who oppose the law or oppress the innocent. The Batman has been fighting crime for over 70 years and his influence on popular culture is second to none. Known for his willpower, mind and combat skills, the Dark Knight has given fans some of the best and most exciting fights ever to grace a funny book. And here for the first time is a listing of his 5 best (no easy task mind you)!!!

http://hero-envy.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-top-5-greatest-battles-of-batman_21.htmlJohn Ciminohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10737574058335177140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669531469217423923.post-45750121278531490332012-09-14T19:10:54.951-04:002012-09-14T19:10:54.951-04:00Thanks for the comments.

Where will sales settle out at? Again, I think this book remains a solid seller and a winner overall in the New 52. But I would like to see things a bit more stable.

I've pointed this out before but the previous series of Supergirl was getting nearly 30'000 even after its 50th issue!

I think this figure is therefore just a measure of her relative popularity. The current creative team is doing fine, they're delivering a strong and distinctive book and I don't think you could do much better. But as you pointed out there is such a lot of pressure on consumers pockets and time, plus the franchise titles and event books like Avengers/X-Men work to suck most of the attention away from books like Supergirl.

If you study that chart and put 30'000 into its context then it's a really good strong figure, I think with he state of the market and the way of trends Supergirl will continue a slight deterioration, hopefully a slow one, but it's a fact that books on her level need help now and again with getting attention and exposure. Maybe joining a team would be a good move in this regard.Dave Mullenhttp://www.comicboards.com/superman/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669531469217423923.post-68103637953638251042012-09-13T16:02:57.005-04:002012-09-13T16:02:57.005-04:00Don't forget the crossover with Superboy, Supe...Don't forget the crossover with Superboy, Superman and Action in a couple months.
