This is a violation on every level that Brainiac is putting her through. As such, there is potential here for a personal hatred for Lois to have for a Superman rogue I don't think even seen in Lex. I mean, toe to toe what can she alone do against him, but that's not really the point, its the vendetta in of itself that I think would be fun to explore and keep relevant for years to come. Should they explore it. Which I really hope they do.Jaynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669531469217423923.post-43958261733797755292014-04-24T18:05:35.670-04:002014-04-24T18:05:35.670-04:00Did you have any thoughts about the Red Lanterns s...Did you have any thoughts about the Red Lanterns solicits? Those look pretty heavy as well, the Red Lantern gang war comes to Earth! I wonder if that happens simultaneously with Doomed?

You practically have to take a number and wait in a queue if you want to invade Earth in the DCU. Someone tries it every five minutes, Stormwatch must be really busy behind the scenes...AndNowInStereohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14021894582408478305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669531469217423923.post-19386978161768480412014-04-24T17:05:00.671-04:002014-04-24T17:05:00.671-04:00Thanks for comments.

She has had very little to do in the New 52. So seeing her fight Diana, even if controlled, seems wrong.

And anon, I agree she has been more heroic as a Red. I think this means she will be a hero not because of Rage. But because of other feelings.

And I hated to Cyborg moment too. Let Zor-El die as the Cyborg so someone else can take up the mantle.Anjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10023193805914075078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669531469217423923.post-55135901653526806852014-04-24T11:55:14.341-04:002014-04-24T11:55:14.341-04:00Do you realise that this line:
"Supergirl is...Do you realise that this line:

"Supergirl is forced to question her role as a Red Lantern – and as a hero!"

Probably means she's going to become even LESS heroic? I mean, she's being fairly heroic as a Red Lantern, arguably even more of a hero than she was prior to putting on the ring. If she's forced to question her role as a hero, doesn't that mean she's considering NOT being a hero anymore, rather than going back to being one?

I interpret the sentence with less hope than you do.

I don't even want to think about a reunion between Kara and Cyborg Superman. Kara's death the last time around was the single most abhorrent, disturbing, sick, hopeless and dark moment I've ever witnessed in thirty years of reading DC comics and so the only plot I'd like to see involving Cyborg Superman is one that completely writes that scene out of continuity forever. There's nothing they haven't touched yet in the mythos that hasn't been a slam dunk, so I see no reason why at the very least their entries into the Doomed event won't be good, if not the entirety of the storyline.

Besides, we were going to need a reason for "people down on Superman" anyway you slice it. For a while. That was going to be a constant post-FE regardless to no fault of the Superman team, but because of Johns' Lex-On-The-League direction. So if you can't avoid it, use it to your benefit, and that's what I see the Superman team trying to do here.

And in regards to SM/WW, don't fall into the "catfight" trap. Nothing has indicated that except angry fans. This will be, essentially, Wonder Woman vs. Brainiac, with Lois's life in the balance.Jaynoreply@blogger.com
