But he needs to remember to put some meat into the story. I don't ever remember an issue of Star Man, as experimental as some of those issues where, being this light on content.

-----------------------
http://supersentaiimages.blogspot.com/
Super Sentai (Japanese Power Rangers)

http://kandouerik.blogspot.com/
Comics, Anime, and MoreKandou Erikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18233336986244371430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669531469217423923.post-47862478938140168742009-08-02T01:49:21.844-04:002009-08-02T01:49:21.844-04:00i actually quite liked this issue. robinson's ...i actually quite liked this issue. robinson's book is all about the heroes of metropolis, and though i don't have much interest in dr light or mark merlin, i did enjoy catching up with the zatarra, harper, and tellus (who i did't think we'd be seeing again)...
i know others don't like roaming through various books catching storylines, but its something i enjoy and think its a great way to unify the dcu. as robinson is going to be writing the jla soon, it makes sense that he could bring up storylines in his other books, too. and, i'll like having a superman book that ties to the jla...
i do wonder if atlas is being set up to see the error of his ways, re superman and steel, or if he does agree with what gen lane is up to...
i'm quite enjoying the little bits and pieces we get of the harper story, too. though she mayn't thinkit now, i'm sure being partnered with jonathon kent will see her in the thick of it yet...
the zatara section was amusing in that both geoffrey and zatara seemed to know they didn't have too much to worry about with the parasite, and just played it soo cool...
as i said previously, i'm not too fussed with the dr light addition, but there is an ongoing plotline with the guardian's 'daughter', so i didn't mind seeing her pop up again...
i did enjoy seeing ion and tellus. i'd been hoping that ion would be meeting with mon-el, but will now have to wait and see how this works out... i do wonder what sort of evil would've come to pass in the far future...
in all, i did enjoy this issue of plot threads, and though i don't think they'll all tie into each other, i'm sure they'll all be summed up in time, and it was fun (for me) to drop in on them in this issue...

ooo, long post. sorry...Heath Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00334282325970098007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669531469217423923.post-59359871679381034722009-08-01T18:48:36.736-04:002009-08-01T18:48:36.736-04:00The first time I saw Parasite use shapeshifting po...The first time I saw Parasite use shapeshifting powers was during the Loeb/McGuiness run on Superman.
